Your watch has automatic movement and so is powered through the movement of your wrist. As you go about your daily business, it should wind and power the watch. However initially, or if you haven't worn the watch in a while, it may need a boost.
The crown is the small knob on the side of the watch case (see diagram above). It's used to set the time and date, and to wind the watch.
From it's initial position, turn the crown clockwise (away from you as you look at the face). Stop winding when you feel resistance. Winding past this point can damage the watch.
Pull the crown out to the first position (B on diagram above) and turn it anti-clockwise (towards you as you look at the face). Make sure you turn the dial in the correct direction to prevent damage.
Once your watch is wound, you can set the time by pulling the crown out to the second position (C on diagram above) and turning it clockwise or counterclockwise. When the time is set, push the crown back in to it's original position (A on diagram).
